Jesse is a Portland, Oregon–based director and editor inspired by honest, curious, uncommon stories about people.
After a decade at Blue Chalk Media in roles across development, production, and post-production, he now works independently on documentary and nonfiction projects. His expertise spans hands-on storytelling, creative direction, team leadership, and client partnership, all grounded in his roots as an editor.
He is the co-editor of Firebreak, a feature-length documentary about formerly incarcerated wildland firefighters, and has helped bring stories to life for brands including Nike, Airbnb, and The Washington Post.
